[Update] iPhone 5 Battery problem after iOS7 update!

I am sure all of you have upgraded their iOS devices into the sweet new iOS7 just recently. And I don't know if you have noticed that your battery gets drained so fast after upgrading to iOS 7 or not. But I have noticed that I have to charge my phone every 1 hour "maybe less", or just keep it on the charger while using it!

I used to never have any problem with my iPhone 5 battery before upgrading to the iOS7. Many iPhone and iPad owners around the world have been reporting problems with Apple's updated operating system iOS7 and the battery issue.

However, I am trying those below options in order to save the battery's life and I think it's pretty good so far. Will update this post after few days just to let you know how things are going.

1. Turn off background app updates

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > and then turn OFF the Updates

2. Turn off AirDrop / Wi-Fi / and Bluetooth

You may do so by swiping up from the bottom to pull up the Control Center.

3. Turn off Parallax

This option will disable the homescreen's 3D pop, all you need to do is to go to Settings > General > Accessibility > set Reduce Motion to ON

4. Switch off Auto Brightness

Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness > OFF

5. Switch off Location Services

You may completely switch it off, or just turn off location settings for apps that you don't require.

6. Turn off Background App Refresh

Settings > General > Background App Refresh > OFF

I just hope this bug/issue was not purposely done so we would want to buy the new iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c :D

However, I don't think I will be buying it, because I already have iPhone 5 and it's still in perfect shape, well unless of course if someone gifted me a brand new iPhone 5s "the space grey plz XP" I wouldn't mind at all :D

[Update]

Good news, now the battery lasts for 4 - 5 hours after I charge it :D
